Software Requirements
WinSell Pro
WinSell Pro is a complete stand alone
system. It comes with everything you need. Runtime engines are
provided for the underlying Microsoft SQL Database and for Crystal
Reports.
The following products can be used in conjunction with
WinSell Pro.
Crystal Reports
WinSell Pro uses the Crystal Reports engine to create detailed reports.
Crystal Reports can export WinSell Pro data to a wide variety of formats including comma or tab delimited
files.
Microsoft Excel
Excel can be used for both data import and export. We provide several
templates that allow you to export tables from the database to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. WinSell
Pro comes with several Excel 2000 templates for importing data into the database.
Microsoft SQL Server
WinSell Pro can use either the Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE - provided free
with WinSell Pro), or Microsoft SQL Server 7 / 2000. If you use Microsoft SQL
7 / 2000, you can use Microsoft SQL
Server to import or export data to the WinSell Pro database.
Microsoft Word
All reports can be saved in Microsoft Word's ".doc" format. In
addition, customer lists can be used as a basis of mail merges in Word.
QuickBooks
WinSell Pro continually collects data during the course of a business day.
The accounting information is made available to QuickBooks without having to re-key or re-enter the
transactions. WinSell Pro has ability to create transfer files in QuickBooks' ".iif" format. These
files can be imported directly into QuickBooks using the QuickBooks import function.

WinSell Web
Microsoft FrontPage 2000
WinSell Web is designed to allow web developers to control the look and feel
of the website. Microsoft FrontPage can be used to control WinSell Web's interface and navigation
structure.
Microsoft Visual InterDev
Similar to Microsoft FrontPage, Visual InterDev works as a great tool to make
code level changes to WinSell Web. Web developers will have access to the WinSell Web interface code
allowing for great control over how the website operates.
HTML
WinSell Web is designed to allow quick integration or addition into existing
websites. Through use of an HTML template file and cascading stylesheets, a web developers can create a
template that resembles the existing website.
3rd Party Software - Online Credit Card security
To connect the
web module to a merchant credit card account will require a 3rd party
software
WinSell Pro
WinSell Web shares the same database as the WinSell Pro product.
Changes that are made to the database in WinSell Pro are reflected in the WinSell Web system. These
changes include additions of customers, inventory items, orders, and more.

WinSell Express
WinSell Express is a complete stand alone
system. It comes with everything you need. Runtime engines are
provided for the underlying Microsoft Access Database and for Crystal
Reports. The following products can be used in conjunction with
WinSell Express.
Microsoft Access
The database engine underlying WinSell Express is the Microsoft Access 97 Jet
Engine. If you use Access, you can open the database tables and do ad hoc reporting, editing, custom
extensions, etc.
Microsoft Excel
Excel can be used for both data import and export. We provide three templates
that allow you to export tables from the database to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. WinSell Express
comes with several Excel templates for importing data into the database.
